To say thank you to the Lottery players who have made so much of our restoration work possible, we’re taking part in the National Lottery Open Week. Just present your lottery ticket or scratch card on Sunday 17th March from 11am – 4pm to explore the Steamship Freshspring for FREE.
On board we will have our popular VR experience, morse code experts, knot tying, bracelet making, a face painter, a teddy bear hunt and our volunteers keen to guide you around our historic ship.
We’ll also have a small programme of live music for you to enjoy from The Bideford Folk Club including Blues, Ballads and Bluegrass, Q T Swing and Cobbled Together.
Anyone without a lottery ticket or scratch card will be able to access the ship by paying the standard entry price. Card or cash accepted.
How it works:
You will need to bring one National Lottery ticket or scratch card for each adult to gain free entry. Under 18s can accompany ticket holders for free. All National Lottery games, including National Lottery draw-based games, Instant Win Games, and National Lottery scratch cards, purchased in-store and online or via the app, can be used.

Please show your National Lottery ticket to volunteers waiting on the gangplank when you arrive. The draw and purchase date on the ticket is not relevant. Both hard copy and digital tickets will be accepted. Children 5 years of age and younger get in free as standard.
