It is not everyday that SS Freshspring makes it to the Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London! Painted by local, North Devon artist, Pete Newell, this (acrylic) painting shows Freshspring in Harland and Wolff’s dry dock (Appledore), where she underwent a survey during May 2021.
We are pleased to announce that his artwork will be displayed at this wonderful exhibition and opens today until 1st October 2022. This exhibition is widely recognised as a showcase for the best in contemporary marine art, with selected work by non-members hung alongside the work of current members.
