October promises to be another busy month with local events in North Devon. Our friends over at Way of the Wharves will be offering a FREE community event, called the ‘Bideford BIG DRAW’ on Saturday 30th October. This celebration of drawing is based on the 2021 theme ‘Make the Change’ and is open to all ages from individuals and families to artists/art groups, history groups and natural history groups.
There is no entry charge and participants are to draw or paint from the Quay, Bideford (west side) showing:
• History – what the river, foreshore, wharves were like in the past
• Present – what the river, foreshore, wharves look like now
• Future – what the river, foreshore, wharves might look like in the future All artworks will be photographed and collated and there will be several prize categories: young people, students and adults.
